1770_00001Record and Return to:Legal Department City ofMoses Lake $$2 P.O,Box 1579 Page t i of i Moses Lake,WA 98837 08/25/97 03:11P BCURITYTITLEGUARAORDN 8.00 Grant,Co Aud ORDINANCENO.1770 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.1759 ANNEXING CERTAIN SPECIFIEDTERRITORYTOTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATING THESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,AND WHICHPROVJDES.FORTHEASSUMPIIOblOEEXLSTING.lNDEBTEDNESSAblDESTAalJSHESTHE-ZONING THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS: Section 1.Ordinance No.1759 annexing certain specifiedterritoryto the Cityof Moses Lake,Washington incorporating thesamewithinthecorporatelimitsoftheCityofMosesLakeandwhichprovidesfortheassumptionofexistingindebtednessandestablishesthezoningisamendedasfollows: Section 1.The followingdescribed real estate,the City of Moses Lake Firing Range,as shownontheattachedmapmarkedExhibitAwhichbythisreferenceisincorporatedwithinthisordinance,situated in Grant County is non-contiguous totheCity ofMoses Lakebut is owned bytheCityofMosesLakeandintendedtobeusedformunicipalpurposesisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake: That portion of Sections 22 and 27,Township 20 North,Range 28 East,WillametteMeridiandescribedasfollows: Beginning at a point 7,972.31 feet north and 1,643.38 feet east ofthesoutheast comerofSection33ofsaidTownshipandRange(whoseWashington State Grid South ZonecoortlinatesareY=674,047.08,X=2298909.20 and are referred to the U.S.C.&G.S.O station "SPAD"whose Washington State Grid_South Zone coordinates are¯Ÿë70 91Tú6,¥=1288625.74),said point being the intersection of county roadsknownasRandolphDriveandTyndallRoad;thenceNorth 17°17'10"East along thecenterlineofsaidRandolphDrive1,350.00 feet tothe true point of beginning;thenceNorth89°28'11"east 1,630.00 feet;thenceNorth0°31'49"West approximately 1,360feetmoreorlesstothesectionlineofsaidSection27;thence continuing North0°31'49"West 100 feet into said Section22;thence South 89°28'11"west 1,210 feetmoreorlesstothecenterlineofRandolphDrive;thenceSouth 17°17'10"west 1,500feetmoreorlesstothetruepointofbeginning, excepting therefromthewest thirtyfeet for countyroad right-of-way. Section 2.Allproperty withinthe territoryannexed shallhereinafterbe assessed and taxedat thesamerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property herein annexed shall be released from any outstandingindebtedness levied againstitpriortosaidannexation. Section 3.That a copy ofthis ordinance shall be filed withthe Board of County CommissionersofGrantCounty,Washington. Section 4.That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein is zoned Public.
