AN ORDINANCE ANNEXINGCERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATINGTHE SAME WITHINTHE CORPO-RATELIMITSOF THECITYOF MOSES LAKE,ANDWHICH PROVIDES FOR THEASSUMPTIONOFEXISTINGINDEBTEDNESSANDESTABLISHESTHEZONING
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTONDO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The following described real estate,as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A which bythisreferenceisincorporatedwithinthisordinance,situatedinGrantCounty contiguoustotheCity of MosesLakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake:
A portion of Section 9,Township 19 .North,Range 28 East,W.M.,Grant County,Washington,more fully described as follows:
Commercial Block 1,Gateway Estates,including Lots 1through12 inclusive,and the 30 footwidelocalaccessandpublicutilityeasement.
That portion of the NW¼of Section 9 lying north of the southwest right-of-wayof StateHighwaySR-17,east of the easterly right-of-way line of Patton Boulevard as it is projectedsouthwesterlytotheintersectionwiththesouthwestright-of-way ofState Highway SR-17 andsouthwesterlyofthesoutherlyboundaryofCommercialBlock1,Gateway Estates.
The NE¼of Section 9 lyingnorth ofthe southwest right-of-way of State Highway SR-17.less
Less Block 1 and Block 2 and the right-of-way of Jean Lane,Vince Drive,and HarrisRoadinGatewayEstatesDivision1,as recorded in Book 10 of Plats,page 37,and
Less Block 1 and Block 2 and the right-of-way of Charles Place in Gateway Estatás
Division 2 as recorded in Book 10 of Plats,page 52.
Section 2.AIIproperty within the territoryannexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxedat the same rateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property herein annexed shallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3.Commercial Block1,Gateway Estates,Lots 1through12,shall be zoned C-2,General CommecialandBusiness.The remainder of the property shall be zoned R-3,Multi-familyResidential.
Section 4.That a copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners of GrantCounty,Washington,
Section 5.Thidordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication ofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
