ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 12.32 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"ADDRESSESANDSTREET NAMES"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 12.32 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Addresses and Street Names"isamendedasfollows:
O 12.32.160 Notice:A notice shall be mailed toallaffected properties whose street name orstreet addressnumberisproposedtobechanged.The notice shall be mailedten(10)days priortothe firstreadingoftheordinanceforstreetnamechangesandten(10)days priortofinalizingaddressnumberchanges.When a street name change and an address number change is proposedconcurrently,thenotification shall be combined.The notice shallinclude at least thefollowing:
A.The existingaddress and the proposed address
B.A description of theproposed action
C.The name and address of theperson from who additional information rnaybe obtained
D.For a street name change thedate and timeofthe CityCouncil meeting when the ordinanceaffectingthenamechangewillbeconsidered
E.For an address change,the date theaddress change willbe effective
F.A statement that a person or affected party may submit written comments regarding thechange
Section 2.This ordinance shalltakeeffectand be in forcefive (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
