ANORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 3.62 OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"UTILITYSYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGES"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section1.Chapter 3.62 of theMoses Lake MunicipalCode entitled"UtilitySystemDevelopment Charges"is amended as follows:
O 3.62.030 Limitation on Service Requests:Persons who requested connection tothecitywater and/orsewerservicesonorbeforeMay3,1995 shall have untilJune 2,2000 tomake actualconnectiontothecity's water and/or sewer system.Ifsuch actual connection is not made to service anoccupiablebuildingandautilityaccountopenedfortheutilityserviceforwhichapplicationwaspreviouslymadeonorbeforeJune2,2000,the application shall lapse and the fee not berefundedunlessthepropertyownershallhaverequestedinwritingpriortosuchdatethereturnofsuchfees.A new applicationtoconnect is subjecttothecosts and charges in effect at thetimeofthislatterapplicationforservice.
Section 2.This ordinanceshall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days afterits passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
