AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 18.54 OF THEMOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"OFF-STREET PARKINGANDLOADING"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 18.54 oftheMoses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Off-Street Parking and Loading"isamendedasfollows:
18.54.010 OfllStreet Parkinq and LoadingMandatory:Everybuilding hereafter erected,enlarged,convert-O ed,or relocated shallprovideusable permanentoff-streetparking and loading areas as requiredbythistitle,except thatno off-street parking shall be required for home occupations nor forbusinesseslocatedwithintheC-1,Central Business District The parkingand/or loadingareasshallhavereasonableaccessandacapacityaccordingtotheuseofthebuildinglistedinthefollowingsections.Where a use is not listed,the Community Development Director shalldeterminetherequiredparkingand/or loading space based onsimilaruses forwhichtherequire-ments are specified.When an existing building is occupiedby a new use whichwould requiregreaterparkingand/or loading space than is provided within the building,the CommunityDevelopmentDirectormaywaivetheadditionalparkingrequirementprovidedhefindsexistingdevelopmentrenderscompliancewiththerequirementimpractical.
Section 2.Thisordinanceshalltake effectand be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
