ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 3.30 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"UTILITYOCCUPATIONAL TAX"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 3.30 of the Moses Lake MunicipalCodeentitled "UtilityOccupational Tax"is amended
as follows:
3.30.070 Payment of Tax:The taximposed by thischaptershall be due and payable in quarterlyinstall-ments and remittance shall be made onor before the 30th day ofthe monthnextsucceeding theendofthequarterlyperiodforwhichthetaxaccruedunlesstheprioryear's annual taxis twohundreddollars($200)or less,then payment may be made on the same basis as thefourth
quarter.Such quarterlyperiods are as follows:
1st quarter -January,February,March2ndquarter-April,May,June3rdquarter-July,August,September
4th quarter -October,November,December
The first payment made hereunder shall be made by April 30,1982 forthethreemonthperiodendingMarch1982.On or before said due date thetaxpayershallfilewiththe Finance Director
a written return,upon such form and settingforth such information as theFinance Director shallreasonablyrequire,togetherwiththepayment of the amount ofthetax.
Section 2.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
