AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 10.12 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"PARKING REGULATIONS"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section1.Chapter10.12 ofthe Moses LakeMunicipal Codeentitled"Parking Regulations"is amended asfollows:
O 10.12.040 Penalties for Parkinq Violations:AIIparking violations shall be subject toa penalty of twentydollars($20)unless anotherpenaltyisspecificallyprovided herein;Provided ifthedefendant failstorespondtothenoticeofinfractionissuedfortheviolation,an additional penalty of thirtydollars($30)shall be irnposedby the Municipal Court for thefailure torespond.Such penalty shall not besuspendedorexcusedbytheCourt
Section 2.The City Council declares that an emergency exists and this ordinance shall take effectimmediatelyasprovidedbylawupononereadingif2/3 oftheentire City Councilpresent vote in favor ofpassage.
