THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.A portion ofBalsam Street described as follows,shall be vacated:
A parcel of land located inthe northwest 1/4,Section 23,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,CityofMosesLake,GrantCounty,Washington described as follows:
Commencing at the most easterly corner of Block 20,Burress Tract plat as recorded in the Grant CountyAuditor's Office,thence South 36°19'06"East,60.00 feet,tothetruepoint of beginning;thence continuingSouth36°19'06"East,720.00 feet;thence-NorttrB3°40'54"East,00:00 feet;tharíca140rth2°19'06"Wëël,720.00 feet;thenceSouth 53°40'54"West,60.00 feet tothe truepoint of beginning.Containing1.0 acre,more or less
Subject toan appurtenant easement for the benefit ofCascade Natural Gas Corp.tomaintain,repairand/orreplacetheircathodegroundbedintheareadescribedbelow:

Section 2.The city shall be compensated for one half theappraised value of thevacated property.Thevacationshallnotbecomeeffectiveuntiltherequiredcompensationisreceivedbythecity.
Section 3.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
