AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 13.08 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"WATERAND SEWER CONNECTIONS"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 13.08 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Water and Sewer Connections"isamendedasfollows:
13.08.070 Main ConnectionCharges -Installed Along Stratford Road,Kinder Road,and Lonaview Street:O Water service outside but immediately adjacent to the area described in Section 13.08.060 onStratfordRoad,Kinder Road,and Longview Street willbe provided upon payment of a front footchargeofthreedollarsandninety-fivecents ($3.95)perfoot,plus thecharge for astandardmeterinstallation.
13.08.089 Water MainConnection Charges -Broadwav Water MainExtension Pro|ect-2001:Water serviceinstalledbytheCityofMosesLakealongBroadwayinSections13and14,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,under theBroadway Water Main Extension Project2001 shallbe assessedtwenty-sevendollars andfortycents($27.40)per front footon the properties described below.Thechargeshallbepaiduponrequesttoconnecttocitywater.The charge shall be a portion of theregularpermitfeet.The reimbursementshallbe placed in Fund 477.
AllpropertiesabuttingBroadway thatare located fromtwohundred ninety feet (290')southerlyofthesoutheasterlyintersectionoftheSR-17 and Broadway Avenue to Road 4 NE.
The above reimbursement rates shall be adjusted upward commencing on June 1,2004 by thechangeinJanuarytoJanuaryallWestCoastCitiesCPI-Index issued in 2004 and shall be soadjustedeachJune1thereafterusingthesameindex
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be inforce five (5)days after its passage and publication ofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
Adopted by theCity Council and signed by its Mayor on February 11,2003.
