2168_00001ORDINANCE NO.2168 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXINGPROPERTYCOMMONLYKNOWNAS THEJAMESCHEVROLETPROPERTY,TO THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,ANDINCORPORATINGTHESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,ANDWHICHPROVIDES FORTHE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTINGINDEBTEDNESS. THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS: O Section1.The followingdescribed real estate,as shown on theattached maprnarked ExhibitAwhichby thisreferenceisincorporatedwithinthisordinance,situated inGrant County contiguous tothe Cityof Moses LakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake: Lot 3,Sparks Short Plat #2 Section 2.The propertyshallbe zoned C-2,General Commercial and Business. Section 3.Allpropertywithin the territoryannexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxedat the same rateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property herein annexed shallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
