AN ORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 3.42 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"CLAIMSPAID APPROVAL"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chaþter 3.42 oftheMoses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Claims Paid Approval"is amended asfollows:
3.42.030 Procedure Established:
A.The Council shall review the documentation supportingclaims paid and shall approve ordisapproveofallsuchchecksandwarrantsissuedinpaymentofclaimspaidatitsnextregularlyscheduledmeetingfollowingtheissuanceofthechecksandwarrantsforallchecksandwarrantsissuedpriortosaidmeeting.
!3.Ifthe Council should disapprove any claims paid,the CityManager and Finance Director shallrecognizeasreceivablethedisapprovedclaimspaidandshalldiligentlypursuecollectionuntilsaidsumsarecollectedortheCouncilissatisfiedandapprovestheclaims.
Section 2.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be inforce five (5)days after its passage and publication ofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
