AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 12.20"OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED"SNOW REMOVAL"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 12.20 ofthe Moses Lake MunicipalCode entitled"Snow Removal"is amendedas follows:
12.20.010 Sidewalk Service Required:Itshall be theduty of persons occupying property toprovide sidewalk
service for municipal sidewalks thatare adjacent to theirproperty,unless said sidewalks areservicedbythecityinaccordancewithsection.020 of this chapter.Sidewalk service includeskeepingthemunicipalsidewalksfreeofsnow,ice,winter sand,obstructions,and otherobjectionablethings.Sidewalk repairs are regulated by Chapter 12.12 of the Moses LakeMunicipalCode.
12.20.020 Sidewalks Serviced by theCity:The cityshallprovide sidewalk service for thefollowingsidewalks.
A.Valley Road ActivityTrail:thesidewalk on the west sideofStratfordRoad fromthenorthsideofKnollsVistaDrivetotheactivitytrailbetweenKnollsVistaPlatandtheVistaShortPlat;thenalongtheactivitytrailbetweenKnollsVistaPlatandtheVistaShortPlattotheactivitytrailonthesouthsideofValleyRoad;thenalong the activity trailon the south side ofValley Road totheeastsideofCrestviewDrive.
B.Neppel Crossing:the east side of Stratford Road from the north side of West BroadwayAvenue(Conoco Station)to nine hundred eighty-seven feet (98T)southofthe west quarter
corner of Section 14,Township 19 North ,Range 28 East WM.(southcornerofLot 3,MoorePlatNo.2),
C.Pioneer Way:sidewalks on west side of Pioneer Way fromthe north sideof HillAvenue totwohundredeightyfeet(280')south of the centerline ofWalnut Street (southside of C &VAuto
sales lot).
D.Pioneer Way;sidewalkon the east side of Pioneer Way fromthenorth side of HillAvenue tothesouthsideofRivieraStreet
O E.Wheeler Triangle (streetbeautification site):sidewalksonthenorthside ofWheeler Road fromtheeastsideofStateRoute17tothewestsideofLascoLane.
F.ActivityTrail:designated activity trailfrom Neppel Landing to the southeast side of MarinaDrive(atHolmes Street);then along the southeast side of Marina Drive to the northeast sideofInterlakeRoad;thenalong the northeast side of Interlake Road to the southeast side ofBroadwayAvenue;then along the southeast sideofBroadway Avenue totheactivitytrailonthenorthsideofInterstate90;then alongthe activity trailon thenorth side of Interstate 90 totheparkingareainBlueHeronPark.
G.Nelson Road and DivisionStreet ActivityTrail:thesidewalkonthe south side of Nelson Roadfromeighthundredelevenfeet(811')west of the northeast section quarter for Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.(Chief Moses Middle School)to the east side ofPioneerWay;thenagain on the south side of Nelson Road from one hundred forty feet (140')east of centerline of Shaker Place (Garden Height Elementary School)totheeast side ofDivisionStreet;then along theeast side ofDivisionStreet from thesouth side of Nelson RoadtothenorthsideofYonezawaBoulevard.
H.Yonezawa Boulevard ActivityTrail:the sidewalkon the north side of Yonezawa BoulevardfromtheeastsideofDivisionStreettothewestsideofStateRoute17.
I.Broadway Avenue:alongthe northwest side,from Interlake Road to the north side of theInterstate90right-of-way.
J.Central Drive:alongthe west and south side,fromValley Road extending northerlytoGrapeDrive.
O K.Clover Drive:along the west side,from Yonezawa Boulevard to the west side of the StateRoute17right-of-way.
L.Division Street:along the east side,from Nelson Road tothe northside of the Interstate 90right-of-way.
M.Holm Street:along the entire northeast side.
N.Interlake Road:Along the southwestside,between Marina Drive and Broadway Avenue.
O.Interstate 90:along thenorth side,from Broadway Avenue tothe Blue Heron Park.
P.Marina Drive:along thesoutheasterly side,between Holm Street and Interlake Road.
Q.Monroe Avenue:along the west side,from Nelson Road toSharon Avenue.

R.Nelson Road:along the south side,from Division Street to the west boundary of the State
Route 17 right-of-way.
S.Pioneer Way:along the west side,from Hill Avenue to the southeasterly side of theBesselmanAdditionPlat.
T.Pioneer Way:alongthe east side,from HillAvenue to thesouth corner of Webco's First Plat.
U.Stratford Road:along the west side,beginning at the south cornerofLot3,KnollsVista Plat,
and extending northerly tothe southerly corner ofthe Vista Short Plat;thence northwesterly
along the northeasterly side of the Knolls Vista Plat to Valley Road.
V.Valley Road:along the south side,from thewest boundary of theVista Short Plat to Cascade
Park.
W.Yonezawa Boulevard:along the north side,from DivisionStreet to Nelson Road.
12.20.030 Violation -Penalty:Any person,firm,or corporation who violating or failing to comply with the
provisions ofthis chaptershall be deemed to have committed a civil infraction subject toa C-3
penalty.
Section 2.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication of
its summary as provided by law.
