2342• • ORDINANCE NO. 2342 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE CASCADE VALLEY ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON, AND INCORPORATING THE SAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, AND WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING INDEBTEDNESS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following described real estate, as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A which by this reference is incorporated within this ordinance, situated in Grant County contiguous to the City of Moses Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses Lake: The SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and Government Lot 6 in Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County Washington: EXCEPT the following: Val Ross Short Plat, Replat, Lot 4 Johnson Short Plat Val Ross Short Plat Right-of-Way of Scott Road along the north boundary Rudek-Thomas Short Plat Pitts Flemming Estates Major Plat Kestrel Cove Major Plat The SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 17, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., lying south of the south right-of-way of Scott Road and east of the east right-of-way of Valley Road. The NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., lying north and east of the north and est right-of-way of Valley Road. Lot 11, Lakeshores West Major Plat, per the plat thereof recorded in Book 17 of Plats, Pages 72 and 73, records of Grant County, Washington. The county road right-of-way along the west boundary of the north half of the NW 1/4 of Section 21, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington. containing 81.6 acres more or less. Section 2. All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the city to pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City of Moses Lake contracted prior to or existing at the date of annexation. No property herein annexed shall be released from any outstanding indebtedness levied against it prior to said annexation. •Section 3.
