SOLAR GRADE SILICON ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,
WASHINGTON, AND INCORPORATING THE SAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, AND WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE
ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING INDEBTEDNESS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described real estate, as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A which by
this reference is incorporated within this ordinance, situated in Grant County contiguous to the City of Moses
Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses Lake:
Parcels in the South half, Section 17, Township 19 North, Range 29 East W.M., Grant County, Washington,
described as follows:
That portion of Farm Unit 78, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, Irrigation Block 41, located south of
the east-west centerline of said Section 17. Containing 80 acres more or less. Grant County parcels number
190462000, 190462001, 190462002, and 190462003 and;
The north 150 feet of Farm Unit 79, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project. Containing 11.8 acres more
or less. Grant County parcel number 190463002 and;
That portion of Farm Unit 63, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, located south of the east-west
centerline of Section 17, containing 5.5 acres, Grant County parcel number 190450000 and;

described as follows:
Farm Unit 61, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, except for the North 30.00 feet of the West 30.00

Farm Unit 226, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project. Containing 92.7 acres more or less. Grant County
parcel number 190671000 and;
Commencing at the West quarter corner of Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 29 East W.M., thence North
00°36'27" East, 120.00 feet, along the West line of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, to the point of
beginning; thence South 89°06'17" East, 100.00 feet; thence North 00°36'27" East, 100.00 feet, thence North
89°06'17" West, 100.00; thence South 00°36'27" West, 100.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 0.23
acres more or less. Grant County parcel number 180202000 and;
Parcels in the Southwest quarter, Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 29 East W.M., Grant County,
Washington, described as follows:
That portion of Farm Units 80 and 81, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, and a portion of the
Southwest quarter, described as follows:
Beginning at the West quarter corner of Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 29 East W.M., thence South
89°04'57" East, along the north line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 16, 2630.84 feet, to the center of
said Section 16 and the Northeast corner of said Farm Unit 80; thence South 00°37'39" West , along the east
line of said Southwest quarter, 2016.61 feet; thence North 89°05'05" West, 1410.13 feet; thence North

Section 2. All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxed at the same rate
and on the same basis as other property within the city to pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City of
Moses Lake contracted prior to or existing at the date of annexation. No property herein annexed shall be
released from any outstanding indebtedness levied against it prior to said annexation.
