THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described real estate, as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A which by
this reference is incorporated within this ordinance, situated in Grant County contiguous to the City of Mose
Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses Lake:

Section 2. All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxed at the same rate and
on the same basis as other property within the city to pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City of Moses
Lake contracted prior to or existing at the date of annexation. No property herein annexed shall be released from
any outstanding indebtedness levied against it prior to said annexation.
Section 3. That a copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County,
Washington.
Section 4. The property included in this annexation shall be zoned HI, Heavy Industrial.
Section 5. The City Council declares that an emergency exists and this ordinance is deemed a public emergency
ordinance necessary for the protection of public health, public safety, public property, or public peace and shall
take effect immediately as provided by law upon one reading if a majority plus one of the whole membership of
the City Council vote in favor of passage.
