AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12.40 OF THE MOSES LAKE MUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED "STREET CONSTRUCTION OR IMPROVEMENT
REIMBURSEMENT CHARGES*
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 12.40 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Street Construction or Improvement
Reimbursement Charges" is amended as follows:
12.40.111 Street Improvement Charges - Ninth Avenue: Street improvements consisting of improving Ninth
Avenue through the intersection of Garden Drive with City funds shall be reimbursed by the
below referenced property owner upon property subdivision, or upon development that causes
additional traffic or building permit. The assessment shall be in addition to the other permit fees
that are due. The property in the referenced reimbursement area as set forth below shall be
assessed $11,527 reimbursement fee.
The reimbursement fee area shall comprise of Grant County Parcel Number 110322000,
described as the Tax # 3821 in the SW, NE 1/4, Section 23, Township 19 North, Range 28 East,
W.M., less Tax #'s and plats.
The above reimbursement rates shall be adjusted upward commencing on June 2, 2010 by the
change in the January to January all West Coast Cities CPI-index issued in 2009 and shall be
so adjusted each June1 thereafter using the same index.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days after its passage and publication
of its summary as provided by law.
