AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2412 WHICH ANNEXED
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE PAT CARROLL ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON, AND INCORPORATED
THE SAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSES
LAKE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described real estate, as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A
which by this reference is incorporated within this ordinance, situated in Grant County contiguous
to the City of Moses Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses Lake:
South half of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 19 North,
Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington; also known as the south half of the east half
of Farm Unit 96, Block 41, Columbia Basin Project
Section 2. All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxed at
the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the city to pay for any
outstanding indebtedness of the City of Moses Lake contracted prior to or existing at the date
of annexation. No property herein annexed shall be released from any outstanding
indebtedness levied against it prior to said annexation.
•Section 3. That a copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners
of Grant County, Washington.
Section 4. The property included in this annexation shall be zoned as follows:
The property shall be zoned R-3, Multi-family Residential for 353' south of the north
property line and the remainder of the property shall be zoned R-1, Single Family
Residential.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days after its passage and
publication of its summary as provided by law.
