2447• ORDINANCE NO. 2447 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SPARKS II ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON, AND INCORPORATING THE SAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following described real estate, as shown on the attached map marked Exhibit A which by this reference is incorporated within this ordinance, situated in Grant County is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses Lake: Lots 1-A, 1-B and 4-A, Sparks Short Plat No. 3, and a portion of the Northwest 1/4, of Section 31, Township 19 North, Range 29 East W.M., Grant County, Washington, described as follows: Parcel 1 Lot 4-A, Sparks Short Plat No. 3, Grant County short plat records book 21, pages 69-70 containing 4.70 acres more or less Grant County Parcel No. 313141000 Parcel 2 Lot 1-A, Sparks Short Plat No. 3, Grant County short plat records book 21, pages 69-70 containing 4.92 acres more or less Grant County Parcel No. 313139000 •Parcel 3 Lot 1-B, Sparks Short Plat No. 3, Grant County short plat records book 21, pages 69-70 containing 5.09 acres more or less Grant County Parcel No. 313141000 Parcel 4 Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1-A, Sparks Short Plat No. 3, as recorded in Grant County plat records book 21, pages 69-70; thence South 82°08'55" East, 457.00 feet, to the Southeast corner of Lot 1-B, Sparks Short Plat No. 3; thence South 07°51'05" West, 101.67 feet along the projected east line of said Lot 1-B to the northerly boundary of Interstate 90; thence North 82°26'30" West, 457.00 feet along said northerly boundary; thence North 07°51'05" East, 104.01 feet; to the point of beginning. containing 1.08 acres more or less. All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the city. Section 3. The area annexed will be zoned C-2, General Commercial and Business. Section 4. That a copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days after its passage and publication of its summary as provided by law.
