ANORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 2.60 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"COMPENSATION OF CITY OFFICERS"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 2.60 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Compensation of City Officers"isamendedbychangingthetitlefrom"Compensation ofCityOfficers"to"Compensation ofMayor and CityCouncilMembers".
O Section2.Chapter 2.60 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Compensation ofCity Officers"isamendedasfollows:
2.60.010 Mayor:The Mayor shallreceive compensation in theamount of seven hundred dollars ($700)per month.The aforementioned compensationtobe paid the Mayor ofthecity is fullcompensa-tionfor hisservices,in lieu of any remuneration for his services as a City Councilman.
2.60.020 Councilmen:Each City Councilman,except the Mayor,shall receive compensationof threehundreddollars($300)per month.
Section2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylawforthoseCouncilmemberstakingofficein2002andforthoseCouncilmemberstakingofficein2003.
Adopted by the City Council and signed by its Mayor on h 13,2001.
