The minutes of the previous meeting of Feb 23rd were approved by the council, also the recessed minutes of the meeting of Feb 29th,were approved. SUBURBANGAS PROPOSAL:Letter from City Administrator Chester Waggener,stating that he,Wes Maslen and Chief Bjork had investigated the proposal of Suburban Gas Go,regarding use of propane gas in city equipment and have determined thatmotormaintenanceisnotamajoritemofexpenseandrecommendthattheproposalnotbeconsidered.The motion by Krueger seconded by Dietzen that the recommenda-tion of the City Administrator regarding use of propane gas in city equipment " be accepted.Motion carried. PLANNING00MMIS3ION REQUEST OF PUBLIC HFARINGON MARINA:Letter from the Planning Commission requesting the 0107 Gouncil set a date of Public Hearing to determinewhetheraspecialusepermitshouldbeissuedforaMarinaat2737LakesideDrive was read.The motion by Stark seconded byWest,Public Hearing for property located on the westerly side of PSH #18 between Peninsula Dr.and Lakeshore Drive approximately four acres on a portion of Tract 30,Battery Orchards Plat,toconstructaMarinabeheldonMarch17th,1960.Motion carried. BROADRIPPLE ADDITION NO.1 ACCEPTANCEOF STREETS:Letter from Acting City Engineer J.Uarth Anderson recommending the acceptance of streets for maintenance by the City if Broadripple Addition #1 was read.The motion by Krueger secondedbyHolmesthattheengineersrecommendationforacceptanceofmaintenanceofstreetsintheBroadrippleAddition#1 by the City and release of Subdivision Bond be approved.Motion carried.
