The Council met in regular session,the meeting was called to order by Mayor Law,
councilmen present were:Frank Holmes,Russell Stark,Harold Stadshaug,William
Hilderbrand,John Dietzen and Fred Krueger.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of August 23rd were approved by the council.
BILLS:were audited by the council.The motion by Hilderbrand seconded by Stark,
bille be paid and warrants drawn.Motion carried.

:RESOLUTIONNO.212 PROPOSAL PURCEâSE OF NATURALGAS SYSTEM :WAS READ,Letter from/Cascade Natural Gas,in regards to terms and conditions of bid,dated August 30,1960
and the consolidation of the Gas Funds was read.The motion by Dietzen seconded byHilderbrand,to adopt resolution No.212 accepting bid of Cascade Natural Gas.Motion passed unanimously.
ORDINANCENC.L12:onthe acceptance of proposal from Cascade Natural Gas Corporationy SEÄtopurchasetheN,atural Gas System of the City of Mosee Lake was read.The motionbyEilderbrandsecondedbyStadshaug,Ordinance No.L12be adopted and published.Motion carried unanimously.Mayor Law,asked representatives of bonding holders andCascadeNaturalGas,if Ordinance met with their approval.Both agreed.
REFORT FEDM COMMITTEEOF 80":Letter from Ned Thomas Chairman of the citizen's yCommittee,together with the report and recommendations of the Citizen's Committee
on Capital Improvements.Five Propositions.
-1.Ai port General Obligation Bonds,in the amount of ŠkO,000.CO for pavingofrunways,taxfway,and parking apron at the existing City Airport,with thebalancetobeprovidedbyFederalMatchingFunds.
2.Fire Department Bonde in the amount of $46,000.00 for installing a firetrainingtowertogetherwiththeacluisitionofasite,and installing a firealarmsystemfortheCityFireDepartment.
3.McCosh Park Bonds,in the amount of $$$,900.00 for :the purpose ofpayingthecostofgradinglevelingplacingoftopsoil,installing sprinklersystem,landscaping,developing parking facilities and installing rest roomfacilitiesatMcCoshFark.
L.Public Buildings Improvement Bonds in the am_ount of $98,500.00 for thepurposeofconstructinganewpolicestation-building,remodeling the existingpolicestationfortheCityEngineeringDeptandotheruses,and remodeling theiexistingLibrary-Engineering Building for Library purposes.
6.Swimming Pool Bonds in the amount of $188,000.00for construction.andinstallingamunicipalswimmingpoolinMcCoshParkintheCityofMosesLake.

ORDINANCENO.613 PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION OF FIVE PROFOSITIONS ON CAPITAL /O|IMPEDVEMENTS:and issuing of bonds to the qualified electors of the City of MosesLike,at a Special Election in conjunction with the General State Election,to beheldthereinonNovember8,1960 was read.The motion by Dietzen seconded byHilderbrand,Ordinance No.L13be adopted and published.The motion by HolmessecondedbyHilderbrandthattheproposedordinanceasread,be amended by deletingsiteacquisitionfromthePoliceStationbuildingandbeaddedasthesiteacquisi-tion for Fire Training Tower.Amended motion carried.The motion by Krueger secon-ded by Lietzen,that Section.1,be amended to read (1)Pave runways,taxiway,park-ing apron and perform related work at the existing City Airport,the estimated costofwhichisherebydecalredtobe,as near as may be,the sum of $78,900.30,ofwhich$b0,00.00 shall be paid by the city of Moses Lake and.the balance to be paidbyreceiptofFederalmatchingfunds.Motion carried.The motion on OrdinanceNo.bl3 carried with Stark voting No.
Phe motion by Eilderbrand seconded by Stadshaug,to send a letter of thanks to theCommitteeof"60"for the wonderful job they did.Motion carried unanimously.

REPORT ON L.I.D.È 12:was given by Acting City Engineer,J.Garth inderson,stated /Û /curb and gutter were in,also fine grading in Peninsula Addition,Baker Heights,Bfoadripple,etc.Progressing very well and expect to be completed on time.
