COUNCIL MEETING
'REGULAR SESSION: 8:00 P.M.CITY HALL
The Council met in regular session,the meeting was called to order by the City
Clerk in the Mayor's absence.First order of business,to elect a Mayor Pro-tern.
Motion by Hilderbrand seconded by Stadshaug,John Dietzer.be Mayor Pro-tern in the
Mayor's absence.Motion carried.Councilmen present were:Gordon Ebbert,Russell
Stark,Harold Stadshaug,William Hilderbrand and John Dietzen.Councilmen absent
were:Fred Krueger and Alex Law.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of September 12th,were approved by the
council.

from Dorr-Oliver,Inc,$2,636.1*0,for replacement of existing mixer unit on the
small digester,and that proposal be considered an addition to their bid of
September 12,1961.Motion by Stark seconded by Hilderbrand,to accept the
proposal from Dorr-Oliver,Inc.Motion carried.

Letter from J.Garth Anderson,Director of Public Works,recommending the Council
accept the Street &Utilites improvements for City Maintenance and authorize
reduction in the subdivision bond.Motion by Stadshaug seconded by Ebbert,
recommendation of J.Garth Anderson be accepted.Motion carried.

POLICE JUDGE APPOINTMENT
Letter from City Manager,Chester Waggener,requesting the City Council's
confirmation of his appointment of James Strong to serve as Police Judge fortheCityofMosesLake,effective October 1,1961 read.Motion by Stadshaug,
seconded by Hilderbrand,appointment be confirmed.Motion carried.

ORDINANCE #khQ ADOPTING 1962 BUDGET -Public Hearing
No citizens present.City Manager,Chester Waggener,advised Council of
adjustments necessitated in 1962 Budget by change in assessed valuation
upon certification from County Assessor.Motion by Stark,seconded by
Krueger,that Ordinance #UU8 be adopted,approving Budget for 1962.
Motion carried.
