COUNCIL MEETING
REGULARSSESSION 8:00 P.M.CITY HALL
The Council met in regular session,the meeting was called to order by Mayor
Dietzen.Councilmen present were Gordon Ebbert,Otto Skaug,Harold Stadshaug,
William Hilderbrand,Alex Law,Fred Krueger and John Dietzen.
Minutes of the last meeting of November 13th,were approved,with correction
Otto Skaug,present at last meeting.
BILLS were audited by the council.Motion by Law seconded by Krueger,bills
be paid and warrants drawn.Motion carried.

ORDINANCE NO.U77 REGULATING THE TRANSPORTATION.OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS

'Motion by Law seconded by Stadshaug,Ordinance No.U77 be adopted and
published.Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO.U78 AMENDING SANITATION ORDINANCE
13-3 Read for the second time by title only.Correction in Section 3,adding
1 a new section 22."If premises are to be unoccupied for a definite
period of time,the owner,upon prior application to the city sanitarian,
may receive a waiver of garbage collection charges during said specified
period."Motion by Hilderbrand seconded by Skaug,Ordinance No.U78.be
adopted andppublished.Motion carried.
PARK &RECREATION-BEES FOR BUILDING USE
-h Letter from Clemens Brigl,Park &Recreation Director,recommending certain
policies for adoption in regard to use of the Recreation Building at
McCosh Park was read.Discussion.Motion*by Law seconded by Ebbert,to
accept the recommendation of the Park &Recreation Director,except
Swimming pool fees,be set at $7.£0 per hour,or regular fee schedule
which ever is greater,and life guard $2.£0 per hour per guard.Motion carried.
HIGH SCHOOL ACCESS STREET
/OH City Manager,Chester Waggener,reported that Mayor Dietzen and himself
appeared beofre the School Board meeting,N0v 19th,to discuss the street
project.School agreed that right-of-way should be acquired.School
can legallypparticipate,but have not yet determined if adequate
finances are available.One half right-a-way to school and one-half to
the city.Upon completion school give city easement for use.Motion by
Stadshaug seconded by Hilderbrand,City Manager be authorized to proceed
to acquire deed from Mr.Ewald.Motion carried.
