The minutes of the previous meeting of January 27th were read,stand approved as read.Bills were read.The motion by West seconded by Dietzen bills be paid and warrantsdrawn.Motion carried. ALDER STKEET FILL:s report was given by engineer Garth -Anderson,Items curbing andpaving,re-surfacing of Bridge and curbing on North side of valley road to be takencareofin.the spring.The motion byWest seconded by Holmes estimates on proposedextensionbesubmittedtothecouncilforapproval.Motion carried.I REQUESTFOR CITY WATERAT WESTLAKEWASH:Discussion.The motion by Stark secondedbyWestmatterbereferredtothewater&sewer committee,engineers and Westlakerepresentativesforfurtherstudy.Motion carried. STREET MAINTENANCE:Letter from City Administrator in regards to city policy wasread.No action taken. 3ALL FOR BIDS FOR FIRE HOSE:Letter from Fire Chief Rolly for a request to callforbidsformorefirebosewasread.The motion by West seconded by Dietzen toauthorizecallforbidsforfirehoseandbiddatebesetforMarch3,1999.Motioncarried, February 10,1959 Cont'd WATER PIPE PURCEASE:City LAdministrator Chet Waggener requested that we purchase pipe that is being stored at the shop,from Kreager Construction Co,for a very good price.The motion by Dietzen seconded by Holmes we purchase pipe as requested. Motion carried. COOPERATEAGREEMENTWITH THE IARSON AIR K)RCE BASE FIRE DEPT:was explained by the City Administrator ChetWaggener.Agreement read.The motion byWest seconded by Dietzen to accept this agreement and authorize Mayor and Fire Chief to sign theagreement.Motion carried.
