SERER TREATMENTPLANT ODOR:was reported on by JLu Pippins,explained that theproblemhadbeencorrectedbyputtingonnewcoversandsincehavehadnomoretrouble,

WATERANALYSIS STUDY:The motion by Stark seconded by Krueger,that recent study
ofWater Analysis made by Assistant Engineer Garth Anderson be referred to the
Utility Committee,Garth Anderson and Mr.Waggener for study.
ADMISSION TAX:Mayor Lee from Ephrata appeared before the Council in regards to
reduction of Admission Tax,would like to have a meeting with committee to discuss
his problem.The motion by West seconded by Holmes matter be referred to the
original committee to hold a meeting with Mr.Lee.Motion carried.(committee:
Krueger,Dietzen and Stark.)
REQUEST TO CALL FOR BIDS ON COMMINUTDRFOR SERAGE PLANT:was explained by Chet
Waggener.Stated that Comminutor is overflown and in need of an additional one
and would like authorization to call for bids.The motion by Krueger seconded by
Stark request to call for bids be granted.Motion carried.
STUDY COMMITTEEON COUNCILARNAGERGOVERNMENT:Letter from Mayor Boyle was read.
and explained by the Mayor.The motion byWest seconded by Holmes request for
City Council to authorize a detailed study of city Manager-Council type of govern-
ment and report to regular Council meeting of June 23,1959.Motion carried.The
motion byWest seconded by Holmes Krueger be head of committee.Motion carried.
LETTER FROMMOSES LAKE MOSQUITOCONTROL:regards to a fund raising campaign start-
ing May hth and asking the Mayor and City Council to support their program was read.
The motion by Holmes seconded by West that we go on record Mayor and Council fully
supporting Mosquito Control Campaign for 1959.Motion carried.
AIRSPACE CDORDINATINGCOMMITTEE:Meeting in Seattle April 30th,those attending
Duane Allen,Chester Waggener and possible Mr.Thornburg and Alex Law.
ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTONCITIES 00NVENÏION:in Port Angeles June 10th,11th and lth,
reservations to be made.Please notify if you are going.
APPOINTMENT:Letter from Mayor requesting confirmation to appoint Dr.Leon Bodie
to the Board of Adjustment.The motion by Krueger seconded by Stark,Dr.Leon Bodie
be appointed to the Board of Adjustment,term to expire August 15,1962.Motion ear.
APPOINTWENT:Leo Beck to the Civil Service Commission:The motion by West seconded
by Holmes Leo Beck be appointed to the Civil Service Commission,term to expire
