AIRSEACE COMMITTEEMEETING AT L.A.F.B.:was reported on by the City AdministratorChesterWaggener,meeting was to discuss mutual problem,additional rurways andflightpattern,immediate study of present location to what suggestions can bemade.The Air Force expressed strong opposition to expansion of facilities attheMunicipalAirport,because of hazards in conflicting traffic patterns.Mayorfeelsanothermeetingwillbesettofurtherstudyourproblem. ADMISSION TAX:Letter from coonittee was read,refusing reduction of admissiontaxatthistimeduetothefactthatitisalreadyincludedinthe1959budget.Mr.Lee was present and questioned if at a later date it would be possible toreducetaxbeforenextbudgettime.The motion by Law seconded by Krueger toaccepttherecommendationofthecommittee.Motion carried with HilderbrandvätingNo. ORDINANCENO:380:Amendment to the Sanitation Ordinance was read for the secondtimebytitleonly.The motion byWest seconded by Law,Ordinance No.380 beadoptedandpublished.Motion carried. ARTERIAL STREET RECOMMENDATIONS:Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of May 21,1999 were read.*Assistant Engineer Garth Anderson presented a map show- ing proposed arterial.No members of the council object and agree on principal set up. DESIGNATED SECONDARYSTATE HI-WAY NO 7 E:To become effective June 11,1959. etter from James Gray of tWeWashington State Hi-Way,Commission was read and explained by City Administrator ChesterWaggener.No .action taken. PROPOSED BUDGETADJUSTMENTFOR 1999:Letter from City Administrator ChesterWaggener was read and explained.The motion by West seconded by Krueger to authorize the City Attorney to draw up the necessary emergency ordinance deleting items 2 and 3 Police Dept Transfer in the amount of $5,933.00 and Street Capital Outlay in the amount of $3,hl3.00.Motion carried.The motion by West seconded by Holmes to accept the recommendations of the committee in its entirety.Motion carried. REQUEST FOR A GAS MAIN EXTENSION:To serve a new residence in the Broadripple Addition on Yue Street was presented by Edwin Snook.Gas Committee has made a study of this addition and recommended approval of request,The motion by Law seconded by Krueger permission be granted to extend service providing service contract is let.Motion carried. LETTER FROM HARVEYFITTS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITYOF GRANT COUNTY:in regards to bids on untis to be disposed of was read.Requested that in or er to expidite the disposition of the units a flat price be set for the sale thereof,recommend price schedule of:$100 perone bedroom unit,$126per two bedroom unit and $150 per three bedroom unit.The motionlbyWest seconded by Holmes to approve price schedule as submitted by M .Fitts subject to written approval of the city attorney.Motion carried.
