The Council met in regular session.The meeting was called to order by Mayor Boyle,Councilmen present were:Frank Holmes,Alex Law,Russell Stark,William Hilderbrand,Fred Krueger,Merle West and John Dietsen.
The minutes of the previous meeting of May 26th were approved by the council.
Bills were audited by the council.The motion by Law seconded by Hilderbrand bills bepaidandwarrantsdrawn.Motion carried.

INVESTKENT OF FUNDS:Letter from the City Treasurer Evelyn vehrs in regards to invest-
ing 23,000 of the 1995 Water &Sewer reserve funds in U.S.Treasury Bonds maturing196hwasread,also $180,000from the gas fund in U.S.Treasury Bonds for a period of
90 days to be re-invested.

requesting authorization to negotiate for the improvements that have been planned for

VISTATIONS ON COUNCIL-MANAGERSTUDY:Was explained by the Mayor,meeting was held with
members of the City Council of Ellensburg and plan to meet with one or two other cities
and also to discuss it at the convention.
MAYORCOMMENTED:that it was a year ago that he took office and it had been an eventful=
year.
