PETITION FOR 20NE CHANGEFROMR-1 TD C-1:Was presented by James Young and explainedbyattorneyKenEarl,requesting the connoil to set a date of hearing before thePlanningCommissiononthefollowingproperty.A portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23,Township 19 North,Range 28 E.W.M.Grant County Wash.The motion by Holmes seconded by Law matter of petition be referred to thePlanningCommissionandhearingdatebesetforNov19th,1969.Motion carried.Mr. Ken Earl stated a correction o£violation of sone notice had been sent to Mr.Jones of Morris,Jones &Co,on August 24th,1959.No action taken,tabled until after hearing. LETTER FROMPORTER-BARRI&ASSOCIATES:in regards to final payment to them in the amount of Š20,026.60.City Attorney recommended we make no more dispursements at this time.The motion by Holmes seconded by West matter be tabled unit1 such time on advise of the city attorney that it be paid.Motion carried. APPLICATION FOR MAIN EXTERSION TO MDNTLAKEADDITION #3:to serve 17 new homes now under construction by United Builders on Monroe streel.,cost of material required $1726.10 estimated annual reserve $1930.00.Mr.Snook manager of the Gas Dept and Assistant Engineer J.Garth Anderson have recommended approval for this extension. The motion by Stark seconded by Holmes that gas dept be authorized to make main extension to Montlake Addition #3 in accordance with recommendations.Moiion carried. EDMERBASEL CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY:was read and referred to the City Attorney as of November 9,1959. B.E.H.City Attorney John Calbom stated he had received order from the Supreme Court denying the application of B.E,H.£or a writ of review.The effect of the Supreme Court ruling will leave the case before the Superior Court for determination of further proceedings. M sed at 9•until 1:00 P.M.on Thur City Clerk Mayor November 17,1999 Opening of bida of Accounting machine was held at 1:00 P.M.at the City Hall.Two bide were received that o£the National Cash Register in the amount of $8,636.00 plus Wash State Sales Tax and also an alternate in the amount of $6,810.00 plus Tax,and Burroughs Corp bid in the amount of $9,019.60 plus Wash Shate Sales Tax.Bids were turned over to the bida and awards committee £or study and valuation and report back at next council meeting.
