The Peninsula Club again presented their petition for annex-ation,the Mayor explained that no changes in populationwouldberecordedfortwoyearsandThatnotaxmoney would a LpebeawardedtotheCityforthatlengthofttàeheadvisedhowever,that if the Club still wanted a date Ior hearing "àdatedouldbeset,also they could work with the PlanningCouncilonzoning.A motion by Love 2nd by Thoren to set May23forthehearingwasmadeandcarried.
A resolution was read ,from the same Club requesting thereopeningofthePeninsulaDrive.The resolution was acceptedbytheCouncilbymotionofGoodrich2ndbyTaylor.
Ray J,Bontemps and W.B.Scott,representing the Union OilCompanypresentedaplantohaveadrivewayfromBroadwayintothestation.They had already been granted a drivewayfromCedarstreet,and objections were raised by PoliceChiefBjorkandMayorMcCosh,against granting this newIrequest,as it would constitute a hazard to tpedestrians.After considerable discussion a motion was made by CouncilmanTaylor2ndbyStarttognanttherequest.Motion carried.
A motion to authorise the Mayor and Clerk to sign papers onKnollsVistaggtersystemandnegociateleaseofthepumpnowinoperation,and for the City Atty.to draw a lease toleasethepumpandwelloftheKnollsVistaWaterCo.,Inc.not to exceed one year and authorizing Mayor and Clerk tosignleasewhendrawen.Motion passed by Council by motionTaylor2ndbyGoodrich.

A site for a new well in Knolls Vista,the Mayor advised,has been agreed on,consisting of approx,two acresm at

P lice Chief Bjork reported on speed conditions inKhollsVista.He reccomended a speed .of l¶MPH and amotionbyTaylor&Goodrich was made and carriedto orderinstallationofsignsestablishingthespeedlimits.
Chief Ejork reported on the dog situation and advised thataplanwasbeingwèrkedouttocopewiththematter.

Recessed meeting of April 2¶continted,called to order byMayorMcCosh,Members present were Councilmen Goodrich,Starr,Shaddock,.Gillett,Lowe,Thoren &Taylor.
Meeting called to consider proposal of Harper &Son to fingneethewater&Sewer systens extensions under one bond issue L&taking up existing issues of warrants and bonds.
Mr.Ellsworth explained the proposal at length,including themethodoffinancingthedeal,life of bonds,price,and rate ofofinterest.
The amount of the bond issue would be $½30.000,which Mr.Ellsworth explained should take care ofnormal requirements forthenextfiveyears,including the new wther tank,and a sewersystemforKnollsVista.
He advised that a tandher $70.000 häd been provided,partofwhichcouldbeusedforextensionsonLakeviewTerrace
provided that a guarenteed number of houses would be ereeted
on that project.
Mr.Ellsworth advise3d that the price of the bonds would be9¶point 34,at 3¾f.Gk,
The proposal having been fully explained and considered by
the Council,Councilman Taylor 2nd by Shaddock moved that theofferbeacceptedandthattheMayorandClerkbeauthorised
to sign the contract.Motion aarried.
