A delegation headed by Alex Law from Knolls Vista aopeared
before the Council on a hearing called for this date regardingbuildingaehurchŠnlots1112,&13 Blk F.,A protest
signed by a number of properËyowners in the area was preaented
by Paul Lyman objecting to the construction of this type ofbuildinginthisarea.Arguments were presented by both dides
pro &con.The City Council was recessed by the Mayor to allowthePlanningCounciltoconsiderthematter,and a décision
was finally arrived at to give the subject furhher study by thePlanningCouncilbymotionofCommissionerShaddock2ndbyHumphrey,Carried,at the first meeting in November.
J.R.Baun requested permission to sell the City a heater for useatthedisposalplant,motgèn by Starr 2nd by Shaddock to buytheheaterfor#$0.00 was made and carried.
A motion by Starrn 2nd by THoren was made and carried to set
the date for the hearing on the assessment rolls for L I D #2
on November 20th,at the High School Gym ,at 8 PM,and theClerkinstructedtoegi¥eenotiéeeef the hearing as provided by
law.Ordinance #141,amendág the business license,wasraad the first time.
A motion to authorise the Mayot &Clerk to sign an agreement with
Mattson &Reisner for sewer facilites was made by Shaddock 2nd by
Goodrich.
An amended contract with Hugh Lingg for garbage haul wasproposed,to run for ¶years and Attorney McLean will draW UPthedocumentasofevendate.Payments ongthe contract will be
