Hank Ritterrodt ,from the Sport Center,requested information if minors were permitted to play pool .He was informed that the City ordinance contained no proviso denying minos to play pool ,except that minors were not permitted in places were card games wereplayed.The Council expressed no objection until and unless objections were made by parents . The matter of relocating the WWWpower poles on North Alder wasunderdiscussion.A motion by Councilman Shaddock 2nd by Goodrich was made to approve the move. Councilman Starr reported on the progress of well #3.now down to approx.817 feet,in a 16 "hole.As insufficient water had so far been secured ,the engineers reccomend that drilling be continued, at=an estimated costbof Šl600.OO.A motion by CouncilmanGoodrich 2nd by Shaddock was made and carried to proceed with the drilling. The Bourroughs adding machine salesman demonstrated a posting machine for the Council.A motion to call fem bids for a måchine was made by Councilman Gillett 2nd by Goodrich as the cost of the machine is over $$00.00. A call for bids for a new fire truck was moved by Gillett 2nd by Goodrich and carried,funds $600.00 Emergency ordinance #142,transferring from Current expense to Park fund was read the 2nd :time,the rules duspended by motion of Councilman Gillett 2nd by Shaddock and th read for the 3d time by title only ,and ordered published by motion of Starr 2nd by Lowe.
