Hooier \c 93AletterfromtheF.B.I.extending an invitation to the CounciltohavepoliceChiefBjorkattendtheacademywasreadbytheMayor,and chief Bjork instructed to acknowledge the invitation,bymotionofSouncilmanTaylor2ndbyAllison Page 3 ge J,0 English residing on 720 Gem,contacted the council regarding the rough condition of the alley between Gem &Cascade.He informed the Council that the ptopergyowneras were willing to pay the cost of putting the alley in better condition,butwantedassurancethatifthealleyistornuphereafterthe owners would not be required to again assume the cost of repairs.Moved by Taylor 2nd by Starr that the owners improve the alley and that the City will reiml•nwse ithe asseers he alley ishereafterdisturbed. Water Superéntendent Baun advised the Council that an 8'fence will be required to protect the new water tank ffom mutilation by persons unknown.Mr.Bennet and Baun were instructed tolookintotheestimatedcostofaproperfence, Ordinance #l¶8,amending ordinance #101 ,parking ordinance,read the 2nd time,the rulés suspended and read for the 3d timebytitleonlyhymotionofTaylor2ndbyStarrandorderedpublidhedbymotionofStarr2ndbyShaddock.
