The Mayor advised hhat resolution #62m relating to roadconstructiononoldWheelerroadhadbeenreturnedbythe High-I way Dept as not being desirable .A hearing was set for MondayOctoberlattotakefurtheraction.A motion by Councilman Starr2ndbyGilletttoauthorisenoticeofhearingandtoestablishgradeswasmadeandcarfied.
The Mayor also advised hhat he had a conference with Don Grey

Mr Bennett reported on the prospects of Broadway being paved,
this work will not þe done before early next year,by the State
Highway Dept.
The matter of vamations was placed before the Council for
discuss &on and comsideration .Suggestions were made but nodecisiionmadeyet.
The matter of insurance on sewer disposal plant motors &pumps
was before the Conne11.No insuranze is being carried as far asisknownonthisequipment.The Mayor suggested that thewholematteroftdtalinsurancebetakenupwiththeState
Insurance Commissioner and the whole system be investigated
on the possibitlty that duplicate insurance is being carried onsomeequipment,A motion by Councilman Goodrich 2nd by Gillett
to contact the State Commissioner was made and carried.
The Mayor recommended an amendment to the building oddinance
on the matter of costs of establishing grades .Mr Bennet wasauthorisedtoascertaintheestimatedaveragecostofthisitem.Attorney McLea¤was instructed to draw the amendment.
A special meeting will be held on October 1st to open bids for
