An application submitted by Elmer Roush and Edwards Crans to operate a taxi-cab business,was referred back to the applicants for proper presentation. The motion made by Shadduck,seconded by Seene&&man Goodrich,- carried,instructing the city attorney to draw up a new re,solution lowering the number of licensed cabs from ¶to 3. The motion made by Starr seconded by Shadduck,carried,appointing Ed Penhallick Police Judge to fill the term to June 19¶3. Following a discussion by the mayor and councilmen,it was decided -that Hall and Associates be instructed to proceed with the engineering -and specifications for the Peninsula water addition to the present Moses Lake water system. The motion made by Allison,seconded by Starr,carried,authorizeing Hall and Associates to proceed with the sealing of Moses Lake Well #2. The motion made by Thoren,seconded by Gillette carried,instructing Hall and Associates to proceed with the engineering and specifications for the water and sewer project on Kiefer Drive in the Lakeview Terrace Addition. The motion made by Gillette seconded by Goodrich,carried,approving buying the paint for the City Hall and to thank the city employees for doing the painting. The motion made by Starr seconded by Goodrich,carried,authorizing Hall and Associates to make any necessary changes to complete the sewer lift station in Knolls Vista.
