A telegram was received from the Director of Wash.State AeronauticsAssn..asking that action be taken concerning regulation of veteransadministrationonappraisalsofloansonpropertyaroundairports.The Clerk was instructed to telephone the Commission and askibr anexplanationoftherequest.
Mr.Larsen of Potlatch Yards appeared before the Council in oppositiontohisexcesswaterchargethroughthewintermonths.Following thediscussion,the motion made by Starr,seconded by Taylor passed,authorizing the Treasurer to correct the billing to clear the excess charge.
Mr.Brown of the Bi-Rite Drug Store requested permission to sell fire-works through a concession sponsored by the Fire Dept.The motion
made by Starr,seconded by Shadduck passed,refusing the requestbecauseoftheexistingordinanceagainstthesaleoffireworks and galsostatingtherewouldbenochangeintheordinanceatthistimes
A Quit Claim Deed from W.G.and Grace Daoust was received for streetdedication.The motion made by Thoren,seconded by Gillette passed,
accepting the deed.
A Quit Claim Deed from Martin and Bertha Johnson was received,forstreetdedication.The motion made by Taylor,seconded by Shadduckpassed,accepting the deed and ordering it recorded.
The motion made by Thoren seconded by Taylor passed,accepting thePenhallurickPlattandtheClerkandMayorwereauthorizedtosign.
The motion made by Starr,seconded by Allison passed,accepting theMilwaukeePlatontheconditionofthewrittenagreementforapipeline.The Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign.

The motion mde by Taylor seconded by Shadduck passed to issue Mr.Liberty a business license to conduct auetion sales without furtherchargependingfurtherstudybytheCouncil.
Ordinance No.177,pertaining to street improvements on L.I.D.#3,was read for the second time.The motion made by Shadduck,secondedbyAllisonpassed,ordering the rules suspended and the Ordinance bereadthethirdtimebytitleonly.The motion made by Shadduck,seconded
by Allison passed adopting Ordinance 177 and ordering it published.
Ordinance No.178 was read for the first time.The Ordinance governstheinstallationofstreets,sewerage and water utilities in proposed
plats by the City Council and declares an emergency.The motion made
by Starr seconded by Taylor passed,ordering the Ordinance read for
the sedood time.The motion made by Taylor seconded by Starr passed,
ordering thè tules àüipended and Ordinance 178 be read the third time
by title only.The motion made by Starr seconded by Allison passed
adopting Ordinance 178,ordering it published with ¶O extra copies to
be printed.
The motion made by Shadduck seconded by Starr passed,instructing the
Attorney to draw up and Ordinance to borrow $2¶OO from the L.I.D.
guarantee fund,for the street dept,fund,to pay on the County debt.
The meeting was recessed until Friday June 27,for the bid opening for
L.I.D.#3.
The motion made by Shadduck seconded by Taylor passed,that the Water'
Dept.is to pay the Street Dept.$10 per connection,retroactive to
Jan.1,19¶2.
