Starr,H.W.Gillette,R.E.Thoren,and C.W.Taylor.The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with the following corryection:"The Attorney was instructed to draw up an .Ordinance for the issu- ance of emergency warrants from the L.I.D.Guarantee Fund or any other fund with available monies,for the Street Dept.to pay on the County Debt.The bills were audited by the auditing committee and ordered paid, motion of Thoren secondèd by Shadduck. A public hearing for the Groom addition was held and the Council willacceptpresentationoftheplatwhenitissignedbytheowners. It was brought to the attention of the City Council that Mrs.Rudloffhadremodeledabuildingandhookedontothesewerwothoutobtainingtheproperpermits.The City Attorney was instructed to write her aletterrequiringhertodigupthesewerforinspectionandtoappearbeforethePlanningCommission. The motion made by Shadduck,seconded by Thoren passed,instructing theCityAttorneytowritealetterofappreciationfortheBroadwayPavingtotheStateHiwÅ’yDept.and the engineer,Mr.Barber. I The motion mde by Shadduck,seconded by Taylor passed,that the ClerknotifyMr.Kemmer and the Potlatch Yards that the City would proceedwiththeL.I.D.as originally planned. The motion made by Starr,seconded by Shadduck passed,to accept theofferoftheFeenaughtyMachineryCo.of the guttersnipe on a trial basis. The Council reviewed the protests agáinst L.I.D.#3 and decided nonecouldbeleftoutwithoutseriouseffectonthewholeproject.ThemotionmadebyThoren,seconded by Taylor passed,to proceed with theprojectasoriginallyplanned. The motion made by Gillette seconded by Taylor passed,to furnish theRuralFireDept.with water if they pay all installation costs,buttheCityreserfestherighttostartchargingifandwhenitseems advisable. The motion made by Gillette,seconded by Shadduck passed,instructing .the Clerk to write a letter to Gordon Ebbert requesting him to appearatthenextCouncilmeetingtodiscusstheCivilAirPatrol's plans fortheirquonsetbuilding. The motion made by Councilman Starr seconded by Councilman Shadduckpassed,setting the Fixed Estimate for all legal engineering and all - miscellaneous expenses in connection with L.I.D.#3 at the sum ofi$32,000.00,and the Council authorized the issuance of warrants in thesumof$32,000.00.
