Mr.McQuery of the M&nicipal Supply Co.showed the Council new trafficmarkers.He was advised to cheek with Mr.Bennett and work out the priceofinstallingthemarkersagainstthepriceofpaintingtobereportedbacktotheCouncil.
The motion made by Starr seconded by Taylor passed that any privateindividualconstructingsidewalkswithintheareaofL.I.D.#3,who didnothavethemstar_ted by July 21,will be liable for the cost of con-struction under the L.I.D.#3.

Brick McFadden presented to the Council plans for the construction of
a freight terminal.The motion made by Taylor seconded by Gillettepassed,that the Council recommended the area lying ¥est of Hiway 18fromThirdStreetextended,South to the Railroad crossing of Hiway 18,be.rezoned to Ml when proper platting was presented.
The motion made by Thoren seconded by Shadduck passed authorizing per-mission for the Fire Dept.to fix up the 0.D.D.Pumper.
The Motion made by Gillette seconded by Thoren passed giving the FireDept.the Council's OK on sponsoring the Cole &Walters Circus underthetermsoftheexistingOrdinance.
Darrel Ries presented the Columbia Homes Plat to the Council.The motion
made by Thoren seconded by Gillette passed accepting the plat and theMayorandClerkwereauthorizedtosign,upon the posting of the proper bond.
The motion made by Shadduck seconded by Starr passed,adopting Resolution77whichcreatsaConstructionFundforL.I.D.#3 of the City for the
purpose of paying all of the costs of the improvements to be constructed
and installed in said local improvement distriot,including all costsincidentalthereto.
Ordinance No.179 was read for the second time.The Ordinance provided
for Water and Sewer rate changes.The motion made by Taylor seconded by
Shadduck passed that the rules be suspended and the Ordinance be read thethirdtimebytitleonly.The motion made by Starr,seconded by Allison
passed adopting Ordinance No 179 and ordering it published.
