A Public Hearing on the Knolls Vista Fifth Addition was held.The motionmadebyStarr,seconded by Goodrich was þassed and the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign upon the posting of the required bond. A Public Hearing on the Knolls Vista sixth Addition was held.The motionmadebyTaylorsecondedbyStarrpassed,accepting the plat and the MayorandClerkwereauthorizedtosignuponthepostingoftherequiredbond. The Kolar Key plat was presented to the Council with contracts with theCityinlieuofbonds.The motion made by Taylor seconded by Thoren -passed,accepting the plat and contracts and the Mayor and Clerk wereauthorizedtosign. A petition was presented to the Council from citizens and residents ofthePeninsulaarea.The petition asked for the widening of the right-of-way at the intersection of State Highway No,18 and Locust Lane.The clerk was instructed to notify the property owners on both sides oftheright-of-way to appear at the next regular Council meeting to dis- cuss the situation. A zoning map was presented to the Council for study.The motion made byTaylor,seconded by Allison passed refering the map back to the PlanningCommissionforfurtherstudyandthememberspresentweretorelaytheCouncilmemberscomments. The motion made by Thoren,æconded by Shadduck passed recommending that the Secy.of the Planning Commission send written notices to members of all meetings.31Ur Mr.Trolson appeared before the Council as a representative of the Lakeview Terrace residents requesting the street be fixed approaching the hivay.Chuck Bennett,street superintendent was.instructed to fix the street immediately. A discussion was held with platter's from the Peninsula area on bonding. The matter was ref-erred to the Planning Commission. Eric Peterson appeared before the Council in answer to an inquiry from the bonding Co.on street improvements in Lakeview Terrace;Mr.Peterson stated that as soon as curbs and sidewalks are installed in the const- tuction area,streets would be graded and graveled. The motion made by Shadduck,seconded by Thoren passed to include in the bills'g11owed,payment to L.A;Johnston of $841.08 from the Street Dept.for replacing curbs and gutters on Broadway. The motion made by Taylor seconded by Allison,passed,setting the price of dirt hauled from the L.I.D.project at 26¢a yard for fill dirt and ¶0¢a yard for top soi&in practical quantities. The Air Base P.T.A.requested donation of top soil3for the Air Base school ground.The motion made by Shadduck seconded by Goodrich passed, to sell enough áòil to recover the Johnston bill of $841.08 and anyleftwouldbedonatedtotheP.T.A. The motion made by Goodrich seconded by Shadduck passed,to order a map file case from Ray Trask at the quoted price of #317.7¶.
