The Motion by Starr seconded by Goodrich passed that Allison &Shadduck
be the two voting delegates of the City of Moses Lake,at the Association
of Wash Cities Convention in Aberdeen.
The Kotion by Thoren seconded by Shadduck passed,authorizing olhange of
lesign for the potato Hill sewer line.Bid opáning will be the 29 of Ma
The Motion by Shadduck secondeŒ by Starr passed,that we authorize the
attorney and Engineers to take necessary steþa for bids for L,I.D.#4,
The Motion by Allison seconded by Gillett passed,that the varianoes of
Lots 1 &2 Block 23,original plat of Neppell to C-1.be approved.
The Motion by Thoren seconded by Allison passed,that Lots 6 &7 Parkill
addition be rezoned to M-1.
The Motion by Starr seconded by Thoren passed,we authorize the street
lept to go ahead and get the preparation mad call for bids on Sohnerila
Ave and Orchard Ave in Capistrano Park,table discussion on road on
East Broadway.
The Chair is directing the City Engineer to accertain the amount of
preparation for the repair work on East Broadway thru the Martin Penhallick
area.
The Motion by ShadŒuok seconded by Goodrich passed,that the 1 ton Flat
bed truck describeŒ by Jim Baun be taken into Dura Auto repairs for a
check and keport brought to next council meeting.
The Motion by Starr seconded by Shadduck passed,authorizing 375 per mon
for Ted Kursave as of June let 1953.
The Motion by Allison seconded by Goodrich passed,an Ordinance drawn
up licensing pin ball machines and other amusments devices.License
for Amusements devices #1,000.00 yearly,master license $10.00 per machine
per month.Phonographs,&other devices,carring a $10.00 federal
stamp;Annual operators license $500.00 and $2,00 per machine per month.
Money-allocated to Park Department.
The Motion by Starr seconded by Goodrich passed,that Fire Dept be
authorized to buy one blue light for each car,
Ordinance 194 pertaining to the Installation regulation and control of
parking and traffic by parking meters was read.
The Motion by Starr seconded by Goodrich Passed Ordinance 194 be adopted.

being stated under sectiog 1 of Ordinance No 173 and adding subsection22,was read.
The Motion by Gillett seconded by Shaddue:k passed that Ordinance 195 be

Ordinance 196 pertaining to The protection of the Public Health and Safety anctheExaminationændlicensingofpersonsengagedinthebusinessofPlubingof-&aber&ng--was read.

i members present were R.E.Thoren,H.W.Gillett,Geo Allison,C.H.Taylor,O.C.Shadduck and O,D.GooŒrich.New councilmen,present were MarshallBurress,Alex Law,Geo Schuster,John Leaf and Dan Dúdu.
Ordiance 197 pertaining to platting was read.
The Motion by Taylor sedonded by Thoren passed,that Ordinance 197pertainingtoRulesandRegulationsforthekuticipalapprovalof Platsbeadoptedmadpublished.
Mr.Sherman Ellsworth and Mr.William Yadman were here to discussfinancingonUtilities.At the end of the Œ1soussion a vote was calledofthemembersofbothpresentsadin-coming council.Thd Motion by Gillett seconded by Thoren passed,that temporary warrantfinancingbeconttauedforthepresent.Motion carried and noissentingvotes.
