The City douncil met in regular session.The meeting was called to
order by Mayor McCosh,council members present were:John Leaf,
Alex Law,Marshall Burress,0.0.Shadduck,Dan Dunn,and George
Schuster.The minutes of.the recessed meeting oÊ ÑË$Ì 1993 werereadandapproved.The minutes of the regular meeting of October 13th1993.were read and approved.The Motion by Dunn seconded by Law
passed Billa be paid and Warrants drawn.

The Motion by Shadduck seconded by Dann passeg,that Progress payment
(No 3 Semi-Final)on L.I.D.#4 Construction und in the amount of,
$935.10 to Geo V.Nolte &Co be allowed and that Warrants to Grande
&Co totaling equal amount be drawn on L.I.D.#4 fund.passed.
The Motion,by Schuster seconded by Shadduck that progress payment
(Estimate #2)on L.I.D.#4 onstruction Fund in the amount of
$11,520.26.00 McAtee &Heathe be allowed and taat Warrants to Grande
&Co totaling equal amount be drawn on L.I.D.#4 Fund,passed.
The above Warrants to be drawn in the following numbers mad denominations
equaling the amount of the two above estimates.Warrants numbera 16
to 19 inclusive,for $2,500.00 each;numbers 20 to 23 inclusive,for
$500.00 each;and number 24 for $455.36 payable to Grande &Co Inc.
Warrant #15 written in error,voided.
The Motion.by Law seconded by Leaf passed,that the bid of Frank P.
Shinn Jr.on Item V 1 on sale of Turbine Pump Material for $1069.70 -
be aceqpted.
Mr.Samner spoke to council on duke Boxes,in regards to Master License
Letter from Supt of chools Ar.DeFadden in regards to closing street
in front of Central School,referred to street dept committee and
Police Chief for consideration.
The Motion.by Burress seconded by Law passed,if street Dept and Police
Chief see fit to close street by Central School to do so,during loading
and unleading of School buses.
The Motion by Schuster seconded by ßurress passed,that we refer letter
from School on fencing back to school for further details.
Clerk instructed to write letter to school district and various service
clubs reminding them that admission tax should be collecyed and turned
over to the City.
The Motion by Law seconded by Barress passed,that zoning variance be
granted on übe Peninsula,between Allison Lumber and Modern Bldg
Supplies and between Hi-way and Railroad Track to construct a bulk.oil
plant.
The Motion by Leaf seconded by Burress,passed have City Attorney draw -
up contract,peopitting a time payment for hook up charge at not less
than $5.00 per month to those affected by the increase in sewer hook up
rates.
The Motion,by Schuster seconded by Dann passed,to draw up on maendment
to the Ordinance extending $50.00 hoop up privileges for another six
months to existing residence on existing sewer lines.
The Motion by Shadduck seconded by Burress passedy letter of holand.
Kissler,in regards to naintenance of Madio Equipment,to be put under
advisement until fifst of ghe year.Motion carried
