ATTEST: CITY CLEHi MAYOR PRO-TEMMabelwaterman0.C.Shadduck February 16,1994 Special Meeting taken by Laura Thomas Mayor McCagh presìRed with councilmen;Dunn,Burress,Law and Shadduckpresent,with Mr.Rector and Mr.Kenison. The meeting was called for the purpose of discussing and authorizingtransferofcertainpropertyonwhichSoilGonservationbuilding islocatedtothatorganizationlongenoughtopermitrefinancing,withlandthentobedeededbacktocity,subject to the mortgage. Mayor McCosh appointed Mr.Burress and Mr.Shadduck as a specialcommitteetomeetwithdirectorsoftheSCSdistrictanddiscuss mutualprotectionforcityanddistrictinterestsinthebuilding,and forfuturedevelopmentoftheentirecity-owned property. It was agreed that if the SCS were to sell the building,or lose it beilfore-closure,the City of Moses Lake should have first rights to acquiretheproperty,andeavoid permitting private ownership in the middle ofcityproperties. There was a motion by Burress,seconded by Law,mad carried unanimouslyauthorizinganddirectingtheMayormadClerktoexecutethea;ait claimdeedtoMr.Driggs and ar,Larson,med to accept their deed back to thecityforthesomeproperty.The meeting was adjourned.
