Letter read :stating that the committee would be willing to relinquish -the bonds issued to City in 1948 as of the next interest paying date.Governor out of town for a month,and when full committee was available,the matter would be presented and City advised of its decision.
STREET SWEdPER:Alex Law chairman of street committee,reported thatcommitteehäi¯Œtudied tids on streat sweeper,and it was the recommen-dation of the committee that they purchase Wayne Street Sweeper fromtheFeenaughtyMachinery.The Motion by Shadduck seconded by Allison,that recommendation of the committee on purchase of street sweeper fromFeenaughtybeaccepted.Motion carried,with Leaf voting opposition.
SITY HALL PLANS:Harold Hovind presented the plans for the City HallandÑTliWiQBldg,with suggested changes.The motion by LawsecondedbyAllison,that Bid for City Hall be called for on June 29,1994.Motion carried.
BILL:_The Kotion by Shadduck seconded by Schuster Bill of Clark Cassbeincludedinotherbills.Motion carried.
Ordinance on Electrical permit inspection tabled until a later date.
LOADÏN3 ZONE:Letter from Police Chief Al Bjork read:applicationforloadingzonebereferredtostreetcommitteeforfurtherstudy and
some kind of errangements.

The Motion by Schuster,seconded by Law,that these appointments be
approved and 01erk was instructed to notify them.
WASH STATE TAX COMMISSION:Mayor Meuosh made a report on the findings
of the Wash state Tax Commission,and reported that they will reduce thetaxassessmentbetween$6000 and $6900.
Nothing further has been done concerning temporary office space.
City Attorney Ralph Kenison reported that he is checking on Ordinance
.requiring employees of the City to be residents of the City,and reportbackatnextcouncilmeeting,also en Garbage disposal.
UNIVERSAL GARBAGE SYSTEM:to be turned over to the Garbage committeeforfurtherstudy,(Law Leaf and uchuster).
EASEMENT FOR CROSSIN3 RAILROAD:The Motion by Law sedonded by Allison,that the engineer be instructed to make a survey and get a description
of the property for an easement for crossing the railroad of BroadwayextendedtotheSunsetFarkaddition.Motion carried.
PETITION:to vacate Alley Driggs Addition head:The Motion by Shadduck
seconded by Schuster City Attorney be instructed to draw an ordinanceauthorizingvacatingalleyws:y in receipt of new dedication and conditions
agreed to between petitione.r and Planning Commission or bonded therefore.
Motion carried.
3eo Schuster put in reauest for meter for Ed Penhallick,also brought
up the subject of Air Port and its present status.Alex Law was in-structed to contact Engineers at Spokane and to get C.A.approval for
run-ways.
