PEKÏNSULA PARK:geoommendation of the Park Committee regarding thepurchaseofFeninsulaParkwasread.The Motion by Law seconded byShadduck,that recommendation of Park Committee on City Park by thePeninsulaSchoolbeaccepted,and necessary steps be taken to acquirethisproperty.Motion carried.
T.V.INC:Mrs.Pat Eughes,representing Moses Lake T.V.Ïnc,appearedbeforethecooncilinregardstoratesforTrailercourts.Would likeaspecialrateof$35.00 plus $6.00 a month,being they are onlytemporaryresidents.The Motion by behuster seconded by Jones,we complywitatherecuestoftheMosesLakeT.V.inc,allowing alternates in reteschedulesfortreilercourts,and instruct City Attorney to draw upresolutionfornextcouncilmeeting.Motion carried.

REPORT FIRE DEPT:Fire Chief,Leonard Cook presented the report of the
Fire Dept.Very sam11 fire loss for the year,but due to newly annexed
perritory and increase in area to be served,they are going to need
additional equipment.Mayor McCosh appointed a committee of Jones
and Burress to work with the fire chief to determine how it should be
headled.
ZONE CHANGE:Appeal from planning commission decision on petition for
Zone change was requested by Eric Peterson,council was not notified
of Planning Commissions action.The Motion by Schuster secondedby
Dunn,to write a letter to Flanning Commission notice of appeal,no
legal sotion taken on all three,appeal has been filed and returned back
to planning commission to act upon it properly,Motion carried.
Leonard Cook requested that provision of sleeping quarters for the
Fireman.The Motion by shadduck seconded by Allison,that we proceed
to take the necessary steps to get sleepingquarters for fire dept on
force account,and turn over to Law &Rector.Motion carried.
MCQUEEN TRIAL:City Attorney Ralph Kenison gave report on McQueen Trial.
POLICE DEPT REPORT:Made by Police Chief Al Bjork
FLAG HOLDERS:Mr.Burress brought up the matter of placing recepticals
for flags in walks in front of the stores.The Motion by Dunn seconded
by Jones street dept be instructed to install flag holders.
STREET MAINTENANCE:report given bÿ Street Sup't Jim Pippins.
DADUST RIGHTWAY:was discussed,The Motion by Law seconded by Jones
Mr.Rector be authorized to make negoiations with Daoust for removal
of Garage at #2,500.00.Motion carried.
LETTER was read from the Peninsula Improvement Club,asking for #600
for their land between the club house and railroad.ihe Motion by shada
duck seconded by Dunn to take necessary steps to obtain alth property.
Motion carried.
The Motion by Law seconded by Shadduck and carried by the vote of 7 to
O that the estimate dated aan 22,1955 for work done as authorized by
Ord #251 received from Gray &Osborne consulting engineers,Yakima
Wn.,is hereby approved;that Warrant No.1 be drawn upon the Combined
Water i Sewerage System 1955 Construction Faad created by Ord 251 of
the City in favor of Gray &Osborne in the amount of $20,085.63 in
payment of Engineering ervices in connection with bewer Project,said
warrant to be dated Feb 9,1955 and to bear interest at the rate of 2§
per annum from date of issuance until paid.
