pay the difference in cost of water mains over the 6"size.Motion
by Jones seconded by Holmes carried,that the Vista Yillage Homes te d
granted their request to install roll-type curbs.Motion by Jones &
West carried,that the matter of the water mains be referred to theUtilitycommitteefordiscussion.Motion by Burress &Jones,carried
that we grant the request of Storms for roll-type curts.
A LETTER FROM GRKY &OSBORNE-was read:recommending the City accept
for maintenance the Streets in Penhallurick Add f 2,also that we
release the check guaranteeing performance on the inställation of
the utilities for this plat.Motion by West,seconded by Krueger,
carried that the recom endation of Gray i Osborne te accepted.,

the extra work extending the sewer contract for a sewer lift station

THE PETITION OF C.V.ZABER &JESSICA LON3STON:to vacate alleys
between lots 31 through 37 the Broadripple #1 Addition was read.

vacating of alleys be granted providing that the easement be dedicated

MR.RECTOR talked to the Council recommending the setting up of anL.I.D.Escrow account to accomodate those transfering or mortgaging
property because of the new state law which makes and L.I.-.estimate
a lien on the property w ich,however,cannot be paid until thefinalfollisaccepted,M tion by Jones,seconded by West carried
that we accept the recommendation of Rector and that the attorney
be bequested to draw an ordinance.
ALBERTUS #2 ADDITION:Mr.Albertus presented the Albertus é 2 Addition.
The Motion by Krueger and Burress that the Albertus #2 Addition
Plat be accepted subject to the usual platting procedures.
-THE POST OFFICE DEPT request for the removal of 3 parking maters to
allow for a postal box i.n the parking.strip in front of the station
was discussed.No action taken.Also the matter of double and
triple parking in front of the 2ost Office was discussed,Mr.Reetor
adfised the parking condition has just recently been brought up to
the attention of Chief Biork and is now being given extra attention.

WASH POWER LINE:The location of the Wash Water Power Line was discussed.
The ÑAtiŠnby Holmes seconded by West that a public hearing te set on Sept
27,for the Wash Weter Power Franchise for the re-location of Eigh voltage
line from point of intersection 11-G to Nelson Road and thence ilong
Nelson Road to intersection of Montlake Ave.Motion carried.
AGREEMENTOF THE STATE HIaWAÎ DEPT for maintenance of crosswalks and

for a proposed swimming pool,He asked that the city consider building
the filter house at an estimeted cost of $3,900 and a chlorinator at
42,800.Council recommended request te made in writing ,and it would
be cresented to the board for cons.ideration.
