men present were Jave Jones,mad Merle West.Meeting called to order by
Mayor McCosh.
Bids were opened and read by Engineer Preston Shepherd,taken under
advisement until next council meeting.

The council met in regular session,the meeting was called to order
by Mayor McGosh,councilmel resent were Frank Holmes,Alex Law,Dave
Jones,John Henry,Marshall urress,and Fred Krueger.
Minutes of the previous meeting of September 11th,were read,stand
approved as corrected.
Bills were read.The motion by Henry seconded by Jones bills be paid
and warrants drawn.Motion carried.The motion by Law seconded by Krueger,bill of Olympic Construction
Co be paid upon the signing of correct voucher.Motion carried.
CUREENT EXPENSE:
Warrant Nos.7442 thru 7478 paid in the amount of #2,316.60

NATURAL GAS:Explained by Mr.Ellsworth,and Bond offer read.The
motion by Burress seconded by Holmes offer be taken under advisement
for 30 days.Motion carried w‡th Henry and Law voting No.Offer
withdrawn on account of time element.The motion by Henry seconded
by Law that the offer of Wm.P.Harper &Son &Co.&certified check
be returned.Motion carried.
The Motion by Holmes seconded by Krueger sale of Gas Bonds be tableduntilsecondmeetinginOctober.Motion carried.
The motion by Krueger seconded by Jones,Harper &Son &Co be author-ized to continue negotiations with U &I sugar &Boeing Co and report
to us on the 23rd of October meeting.Motion carried.
RADIO BLDG:Attorney's opinion on Radio Building in Public Park:
he motion by Jones seconded by Burress Law be Mayor Protem untilMayorreturns.The motion by Holmes seconded by Henry matter of radio
bldg be tabled until next council meeting.
ENGINEERS RECOMMENDATION ON BID:Peninsula Park Irrigation:Does not
recommend using plastic pipe,his recommendation to accept the low
bid of McConnachie of Kennewick in the enount of Š6,473.92.The
motion by Burress seconded by Henry to accept the engineers recommen-dation of low bid of McConnachie.Motion carried.
