The council met in regular session,the meeting was es11ed to order byMayorMcCosh,councilmen present were:Frank Holmes,Alex Law,Dave Jones,Marshall Burress,John Henry,Fred Krueger and Merle West.
The minutes of the previous meeting of Nov 13th,were read,stand ppprovedadread.Bills were read.The motion by West seconded by Jones Eills bepaidandwarrantsdrawn.Motion carried.
CURRENT EXPENSE:
Warrants Nos.7664 thru 7746 paid in the amount of Š3,769.67
WITER &SEWER:
Werrants Nos.3449 thru 3473 paid in the amount of 6,482.61
STREET:
Warrants Nos.1682 thru-1683 paid in the amount of 22.17
PARK:
Warrants Nos 646 &647 paid in the amount of 900.40
MUSEUM:Report on the Adam East collection was given by Shirley Sylliaasen.
PUBLIC HOUSING ADMINISTRATION:The motion by Jones seconded by West,
authorize emergency warrants to be drawn in the amount of #20,982.97 forpaymentofwarhousingprojects.Motion carried.
Mr.Harvey Fitts Grant County Housing Authority,explained insurance &Budget for the housing.The motion by Krueger searnded by West to extendthefireandliabilityinsurance,Motion carried.The motion by West

Mark Kleine appeared before the council in regards to the operation
of a rock erusher operation.The motion by Burress seconded by Jones
to instruct the City Attorney to draw a notice to notify Mr.Mest &
Basin Paving Co,to cease operations when L.I.D.6 &7 are completed.
Motion carried.
Letter from the School Board inviting council to attend their meeting
Wednesday Nov 28th,was read.The motion by West seconded by.Krueger
that a letter be sent stating .that it has been necessary as a policy
to decline such request ,in the past since the Council holds not less
thma two regular public meetings eachmonth for the purposes of
official business.Motion carried.
Engineers recommendation on Street work;South Terrace read.The
motion by West seconded by Holmes to accept the Engineers recommenda-
tion.Motion carried.
LETTER:from the Civil Service Comnission read.The motion by Henry
seconded by Law to accept the Mayor's recommendation to appoint
Leonard Gook es Fire Chief to serve half time duty for the next six
months,effective Dec 1,1956.Motion carried.The motion by West
secondec by Henry to accept .the Mayoria recommendation to give Leonard
Cook ma additional #600.00 for his services as Fire Chief for the past
year.Motion carried.
T.V.SERVICE:Discussion of T,V.Service.Letter read.City Attorney
instructed to study the franchise to determine what action the City can
take,
