LIBRARY:Shirley Hake appeared before the councilin regards to gettingthecouncil's support in getting a building to house the regianallibrary,if one slould be established in this city.The motion byJonessecondedbyHenry,if Miss Heke can get the Wash Library Associa-tion Legislative to place a regional library here,council will standbackofit.Motion carried.

WATER LINES:The motion by Law seconded by Jones to authorize Mr.Vadman
to meet with residents of Peninsula in regards to the feasibility of
extending water lines.Motion carried.
LETTER:from esh Headquarters Military District explained by the Mayorr
in which they invited the Mayor or councilman to accompany them to Fort
Ord,Calif on the 17th day of January to observe training in the reserve
Forces.West appointed to represent the City.
