The Council met in regula,r session,the meeting was celled to order byMayorurress,councilmen present were:Alex Law,Deve Jones,John HenryOpvilleZilmot,Merle aedt and Fred Krueger.
The minútes of the previous meeting of May 28th were read,stand approvedasreed.
Bills were read.The motion by Law seconded by Jones bills be paid andWerrantsirewn.Motion carried.

STATE PATROL:letter read,requesting renewal of their lease in the CityHallAnnex.The motion by aest seoonded by Law lease rental be accepted.Motion carried.
BURNING PERMIT:recommendation read,Felt that no fee should be chargedsÏBletEifareeliminatingahazardbyburning.The motion by HenrysecondedbyLawtoaccepttherecommendationoftheFireChief&Engineerstriking-item 3 except when the owner refuses to cooperate by burninghazargouscreasandinpreparingthearestobeburned,then a fee willbecharged.Motion carried.
GAS MANAGEMaWT:Agreement tabled until next meeting.

read,hetion carried.referred to fark board for further study.
WORK AWARDS:Letter from the alumbia Basin Construction Council in
regards to work awards read.Letter to be answered acknowledging receipt
and appreciate receiving it.
WELL #7:Don Grey gave report ontests on sell 9 7:bid opening to be
June 18th,The motion by henry seconded by Law to send letters cancelling
the bid opening on well #7 until new tests for greater caoacity have
been made,and new bids be issued.Motion carried.
IPOSTOFFICEINCÏVICCENTER:Discussion.
BOND ELECTION:Discussion on new election and whether or not to hold it
on the same day as the school election in July,tabled until next council
meeting.
RESOLUTION:The motion by West seconded by Kraeger authorizing a resolution
be drafted and sent directly to the governor requesting Hi-way dept
participation in constructing a two way grade crossing at PSH 18 at Lake
Crossing.Motion carried.

Water line hearing:meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro-tem Alex
Law,et 8:26 P.M.councilmen pr esent were John Henry,Alex Law and
Fred Krueger.
Meeting turned over to engineer Bon Gray to explain L.I.D.
Protests were filed mad heard.
Ed Hull representing the School District,states school does not have
the money.W.F.Larned Protests.Mrs.Ollen:question water not available on this
L.I.D.would it be possible to getwater at a later date.
R.L.Jenkins Protest assessment too high
C.H.Storms lue Mountain Cons't infavor of project.
Mr.Dean of older Trailer uourt in favor of Project.
A.Stilwell also in favor,G.P.uteske in favor ill Eine in favor.
Few Written protest were re'd protesting the L.I.D.with no details stated.
Protest to be teken under advisement and percentages figured and report
back at next regular council meeting.
Hearing continued till next regular council meeting of June 29th.
