Letter from the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce on Xmas Decorations for the City of Moses Lak:e,and asking the uity to dut up the decorations and maintain them was read,discussion.The motion by Wilmot secondedbyHenrythattherecuestbedeniedandinstructtheCitySupervisor to write a letter to the Chamber telling them our position on it.-Motion carried. The minùtes of the previous meeting of October 29th were read,stand approved as read. Eills were read.The motion by West seconded by Holmes bills be paid W and warrants drawn.Motion carried. STREET COMMITTEE REPORT ON GIERSDORF:request was tabled until next meeting. REPORT ON L.I.D'S:was given by the Gity ngineer,stated that the paving on L.I.D.§10 was completed,few minor clean up jobs remain.Every- thing on L.I.D.#9 water line extremely good,and contractor now doingcleanupwork. LETTCR OF RESIGNATION:as Secretary of the Civil Service Commission from B.J.McLean was read.The motion by Wilmot seconded by Jones toaccepthisresignationandwriteandwriteJudgeMcLeanaletterof hanksandcertificatebesent.Motion carried.Letter from Porter Barry &Ass.in regards to insp.on Gas was read,statedthatMr.Tomlin &his assistant Mr.Lightfoot now ènsp on.the job. hovember 12,1997 'd MR.RECTOR REPORTED ON ELECTION DATE:February 11th,1998 and statedthatitwouldincludespecialelection¯on Alder treet Bridge. E_SERVICE:Letter from residents of Paxson Addition,stating theyneverhavehadGarbageserviceanddrivershoseoutthegarbagetrucksontherestreets,councilmen Wilmot stated that he had spoke to Mr.Binger one of the residents,and he had never put his garbage can out,therefore truck had never stopped es its a dead end street.The motionbyWilmotsecondedbyHolmesthatanadjustmentbemadeongarbageratesnochargetillNovemberandtruckconditionbecorrected.Motion carried. GAS SCHOOL:Mr.Snook reported on as chool,explained the proceduresiandobjectivesoftheschool,first ñight 65 turned out,dwindled downto9and40outof41passedthefinaltest,very satisfied with theresults. STATE HI-WAYS:Mr.Decil torms recorted on improvements on State Hi-Ways,asked state for alternate highway,and meeting will be calledbetweenstreetdept,council and roads committee to discuss matter.
