OVERCHARGEON L.I.D.:Mrs.Rand Graham appeared before the council in regards to over charge on her L.I.D•Engineer took a survey of all depressed curbs and would like tomakeacostsurveyandmakeanoverallproposaltocorrectdrainageproblem.Mrs. Graham still protests cost of L.I.D.on their property and feels they are being over-charged.Mayor suggested to have a round table discussion with engineer and councituen and try to clear up this matter. REPORT:on cost of operating Police Patrol vehicle for the year 1957.Letter read,fra Shop foreman. PATROLMAN:The motion by Law seconded by Krueger to have meeting with Police Chief on discussion of a Patrolman walking a beat.Motion carried. ORDINANCE#399:kproviding for the sale of recovered property and other personal property held by the Police Dept was read.The motion by Jones seconded by Holmes Ordinance #359 be adopted &published.Motion carried. COUNCTYOFFICIALS MEETING:on Federal Hi-Way program to be March 24th &25th.Mayor urged that as many as possible attend. MAYORIS COMMITTEE:on self government association asking that each city have a legidaa-- tive committee to help on bills coming up in the legislature,want others than city officials,suggested were:John Calbom,M.C,McCosh,Fred Harris,Dave Kehl,and Dr.Hughes proposed. SPEED LLKIT ON DIVISION:Letter from the Police Dept on Speed limit on Division Road was read.The motion by Holmes seconded by Jones speed limit be 35 mi per hour,from 8th kve to Nelson road.Motion carried. REPORT ON P.S.H.#18.Maintenance:thru city was reported on by the City Engineer. CANVASOF PRIMARY ELECTION ANDABSENTEE BALLOTS BY COUNCILMEN:The motion by Jones seconded by Krueger canvas of books all in order.Motion carried.Mr.Rector reported on T.V.Program on Bond Election,seven on panel,meeting to be Feb 27th. TRAILER EARK:Frank Purdy appeared before the council in regards to Trailer Park sewer,Mayor feels committee should study matter and have cit¶attorney draw up a new lease.Mayor asked Krueger,Law,&West to stuir stituation and report back. ]ITY BUSINESS LICENSES:Pad*due,reported on by City Attorney.The motion by Holmes, secondsd by Law that March 15th,be deadline to pay last years business.licenses.Mo carried.The motion by Holmes seconded by Jones that 1958 Business Licenses be paid by April 19th,1998.Motion carried.
